The Iowa Dance Team is a standout program at the University of Iowa, known for its dynamic performances at football games, basketball games, wrestling events, and more. As a member, you’ll represent the university on a national stage, performing with passion and pride.

As part of the Iowa Spirit Squad with the Iowa Cheerleaders and Herky the Hawk, you’ll join over 50 dedicated student-athletes who commit 15-20 hours weekly to practices, games, appearances, and competitions. Excellence both on the field and in the classroom is crucial, as team members must maintain high grades and a full credit load.

We’re on the hunt for exceptional, versatile dancers who are not only talented but also enthusiastic and coachable. Imagine performing in front of 70,000 fans at Kinnick Stadium or witnessing record-setting moments at Carver-Hawkeye Arena! The Iowa Dance Team has proudly ranked in the top ten at UDA College Nationals for 15 consecutive seasons.
